To facilitate the East Kowloon Development near Anderson Road Area, "Development at Anderson Road – Site Formation and Associated Infrastructure Works" will involve formation of about 20 ha platform and construction of infrastructure facilities for housing and associated government institution or community uses at the area in between Anderson Road and Sau Mau Ping Road.
Project’s Major Works.
- Formation of about 20ha of platform and related slope works and construction of retaining wall.
- Road works including related footpath and junction improvement works
- Construction of vehicular bridges, footbridges and pedestrian subway.
- Construction of drainage system including an underground stormwater storage tank
- Landscape works .
- Environmental impact mitigation measures and environmental monitoring and audit.
The works commenced on 31st January 2008 and are anticipated to be completed in between 2011 and 2014 in stages.
